GITES BELMAS – GINKGO AND BILOBA

About

On Montagne Noire, at 700 m altitude, Belmas gîte are surrounded by 16 hectares of woods and meadows. Enjoy a natural and preserved environment, the beech trees and streams in the woods. It is the ideal place to meet with family or friends, share a barbecue under a starry sky, jump in the pool, walk in the woods or make board games by the fire.

Our two adjoining gîtes, Ginkgo and Biloba, have been renovated in an abbey farmhouse dating from the 17th century. The cottages offer all modern comforts in a rustic and warm, stone wall and exposed beams, large fireplace, kitchen open to the living room. Each cottage has its own entrance and a private terrace/ garden. The farmhouse has two lodgings that are available, as well as the accommodation of the owners. A very large secured pool of 10 m by 12 m is at your disposal, from mid-June to mid-September.

Belmas is close to the fortified city of Carcassonne and the episcopal city of Albi, both classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as Toulouse, Gruissan-plage, or Cathar castles (Saissac, Lastours, Hautpoul). And on foot from the lodges, admire the beech of St Jammes de Bezaucelle, which won the public prize at the 2019 competition of the Remarkable Tree of France!
