Damask, Bourbon, Ayrshire… there are as many rose names as there are varieties, all of which you’ll find in the garden at Le Chant des Fleurs.
Located in a quiet residential neighborhood of Saint-Sulpice-la-Pointe, you’re just a 10-minute walk from downtown, where you’ll find a bakery, butcher shop, restaurant, and more. You can even walk to the medieval Castela Underground, 1 km from the vacation rental.
If you head out of Saint-Sulpice, you’ll find the Ludolac Recreation Center 6 km away, featuring pedal boats, canoes, stand-up paddleboarding, a water playground, mini-golf, and farmers’ markets in the summer. If you’re craving more flowers, Les Jardins des Martels is about 10 km away, featuring 35,000 m² of varied gardens, an exotic greenhouse, a banana grove, and a mini-farm… Don’t forget that you’re in the Pays de Cocagne—set out to discover the history of this plant with yellow flowers, whose leaves produce a unique blue dye.
**THE COTTAGE**
A detached house located on the first floor, above the garage (which is not accessible). Balcony with patio furniture and an awning to provide shade from the sun. You can enter through the floor-to-ceiling window leading into the dining room, or through the front door opening onto the hallway that connects to all the rooms in the house. Wi-Fi available.
– Separate, fully equipped kitchen: oven, induction cooktop, microwave, toaster, kettle, drip coffee maker, refrigerator, crepe pan. From the kitchen, a door leads to the back of the house with an outdoor staircase.
– Dining room with a fireplace and a sitting area with a TV
– Bathroom with a bathtub and double sinks. Separate toilet.
– “Étoilée” bedroom: 140×190 cm bed and closets
– “Les Glantines” bedroom: 140×190 cm bed
– “Peluche” bedroom, smaller with a 120×190 cm bed for one person.
Outdoor areas: The garden surrounds the entire house and is filled with flowers. The property is fenced on the sides, but the back of the house is separated only by a hedge that faces the owners’ home. You can park right in front of the house, in the courtyard behind a locked gate.
