A former 19th-century farmhouse, typical of the Ségala region of the Tarn, nestled in the Viaur Valley on the border between the Tarn and Aveyron departments. This characterful stone property has been tastefully renovated and offers all modern comforts.

Surrounded by meadows, fields and woodland, this peaceful retreat is the perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature. A walking trail next to the house leads you through the beautiful surrounding countryside. All shops and essential services are available in the village, just 4 km away.

For cultural outings, within a 30-minute drive you can discover the UNESCO World Heritage city of Albi with its impressive cathedral, the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum and traditional boat trips on the River Tarn. You can also visit the medieval hilltop village of Cordes-sur-Ciel or Najac, perched on its rocky ridge and dominated by its 12th-century castle.

Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the many activities available at Cap’Découverte leisure park, Lake La Roucarié and the Himalayan-style footbridge at Mazamet. Don’t miss the many local markets around the cottage, where you can sample delicious regional specialities.

Ground floor: a spacious 30 m² fully equipped kitchen with a large dining table and chairs (complete range of appliances, including a Mr Cuisine food processor), a utility room, a separate WC and a large living room with a sofa bed, TV and board games.
First floor: a master suite with private shower room, three additional bedrooms and a shared shower room.
“La chambre des Prés”: sleeps 3, 16 m², one 160×200 cm bed and one 90×190 cm bed.
“La chambre de Jean”: sleeps 2, 12 m², one 140×190 cm bed.
“La chambre de Camille”: sleeps 2, 13 m², one 140×190 cm bed.
“La chambre du Fond” – Master suite: sleeps 2, 22 m², one 160×200 cm bed (electric zip-and-link bed, 2 x 80 cm), with private shower room including shower, washbasin and WC.

Enjoy the sunny terrace, the private secure swimming pool (8 x 4 m, maximum depth 1.5 m, open from May to October) and pleasant meals around the barbecue.

All household linen is provided: bed linen, towels, tea towels and pool towels.

Large private parking area and carport.

New for 2026: Dogs are welcome, provided the property is respected.
