Gîte d’étape in the heart of the Cévennes National Park, south of Mont Aigoual, between Cévennes peaks and valleys, an immense wilderness awaits you.

On foot, by bike, by motorcycle…for a stopover or a holiday, you’re welcome at mas Corbières.

This typical Cévennes mid-mountain hamlet is perched at 600 meters altitude, at the end of the Notre Dame de la Rouvière valley, in the Cévennes National Park, classified in 2018 as an international starry sky reserve. It offers a 180° south-facing view, terraced meadows inviting you to relax, a river for swimming, and a wide variety of hiking trails.

Antoine and Gabrielle have been welcoming you here for 30 years. Both mountain guides, they can advise you on your hiking projects, family reunions, artist residencies and training courses.

You can enjoy the nearby river, or rent a pack donkey for a day or more, and take a guided hike.

Mas Corbières is a calm, enchanting place in the heart of nature, ideal for a change of scenery, a recharge of batteries and a creative outlet.
