The house is a large, detached 19th-century manor house surrounded by 6,000m² of fenced parkland. The 3-star gite offers 4 bedrooms for 8 people. 7 km from Revel and 11 km from Sorèze, Auvezines is a peaceful hamlet surrounded by the colourful fields of the Lauragais. The plain is dominated by Montagne Noire and picturesque limestone escarpments: a landscape and profile ideal for peaceful or sporty walks and hikes.

The Auvezines gîte is self-contained, surrounded by enclosed grounds planted with trees, with play areas and terraces ideal for summer evenings: barbecue, outdoor lounge, swing, table tennis, boules. Car parking available on the property.

Ground floor: large entrance hall, fitted kitchen, lounge, dining room, wc, bathroom. First floor: four separate bedrooms, sitting area on landing, shower room with wc.

In winter: oil-fired heating and fireplace. Baby equipment (cot, high chair, playpen).

You’ll be just a few kilometres from Revel (central market and lovely Saturday market), with its services, tourist attractions, nature and sporting activities, gastronomy and culture, as well as Sorèze (Abbaye-Ecole). Also nearby, the beach and leisure centre at Lac de Saint-Ferréol offer a wide range of activities. For lovers of historical epics and beautiful sites to visit, the Auvezines gîte is at the centre of the triangle between Toulouse, the pink city, Carcassonne and its medieval town, and Albi and its famous Episcopal city. Also listed by UNESCO, the nearby Canal du Midi offers shady cycle paths.

Weekend rentals (excluding school holidays): all charges included, beds made up on arrival.
