You are in the Pays de Cocagne, a popular tourist and vacation destination, in the middle of a plain surrounded by wooded hillsides, less than 2 km from Réalmont, halfway between Albi (recently designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring Sainte-Cécile Cathedral, the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum, and more) and Castres (home to the Goya Museum), and just 80 km from Toulouse (the “Pink City,” the Cité de l’Espace, the Place du Capitole…).
Come discover this green and welcoming region and explore the many hiking trails or bike paths. Visit the typical villages in the surrounding area: Lautrec, 7 km away (Pink Garlic Festival); Lombers, 6 km away (Pigeon Eco-Museum); and, further afield at 45 km, Cordes-sur-Ciel (a medieval town). Take the Cathar Castles Tour, the Pigeon House Route, the Gaillac Wine Route, and let yourself be swept away by the charm of Carcassonne.

Accès : We’re near Réalmont. Since the town of Vénès covers a large area, don’t go to Vénès—go to Réalmont instead. Enter “Réalmont” as the town in your GPS, then “Chemin de la lande” as the street. At the end of this road, go straight ahead and you’ll find the entrance to our home.
