At the foot of the Pyrenees, on the banks of the Garonne, the Château de Vidaussan is a place that will enchant you with its tranquillity and rural setting. Just 4 km from the village of Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges, these guest rooms are the ideal base for visiting this remarkable village, its cathedral and its Gallo-Roman site. Here, fishing enthusiasts can indulge in their favourite pastime, while hikers and cycle tourists will be delighted to stop off at Isabelle’s while exploring the Via Garona or the Garonne cycle path.
The swimming pool (5x11m) is the perfect place to relax and unwind in summer, listening to the sound of the river flowing nearby.
On the ground floor of the château: large dining room (with fireplace) for breakfast, winter lounge (with fireplace).
On the first floor: the five bedrooms are furnished, each named after a historical occupant of the castle: Savary de Saint-Paul Suite (1 double bed, 180 cm wide, sitting area, bathroom with toilet, shower and jet bath), Louise de Montpézat room (1 double bed, small shower room with toilet and jet shower), Gaudiette de Mauléon room (1 double bed, shower room with toilet), Frise de Montcassin room (1 double bed, sitting area, bathroom with toilet accessible via a few steps), Dame de Carbon room (1 double bed, 160 cm wide, bathroom with toilet in the tower with small claw-foot bathtub), reading room.
All rooms are air-conditioned except for the Savary Suite.
Wi-Fi internet access (low speed).
The property is not suitable for children under 15 years of age.
