In the heart of Provence Occitane in Laudun, in a hamlet surrounded by vineyards, we welcome you for a warm and friendly stay in our Maison 1643, a former 17th century silkworm farm bordered by a vast garden with trees and a river.

Our house is an old silkworm nursery dating from 1643 located in Laudun-l’Ardoise, in a hamlet, Ribas, in the middle of vineyards, trees, an island of freshness, of peace.
It is bordered by a river, surrounded by laurel, cypress and fig trees.
Not far from the A7 and A9 motorways.
16km from Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Orange, 21km from Avignon, 18km from the Pont du Gard, we are ideally located in the heart of many tourist sites, cultural events, festivals and walks.

Our 3 rooms were completely renovated in 2022 and 2023. Two of the rooms open onto a columned passageway on the first floor and an enclosed paved courtyard. The third room is located on the second floor.
All three rooms are large, with independent entrances, and the bedding is French and of high quality. Each room has its own shower room and separate toilet. Bathroom linen is provided, as well as shower gels, shampoo and soap, all organic. They have air conditioning, free wifi, a kettle and Nespresso coffee machine.

Breakfasts are prepared with home-made products, yoghurts, granola, brioches… and local products.
As soon as the weather allows it, meals are served outside, under the canopy. A lounge area allows you to relax in the shade.
On the ground floor, a common room is available for meals, and a part of the bar with a fireplace for evenings by the fire, curled up in an armchair.

We also offer a table d’hôtes on reservation, Bistrot de saison, a cuisine based on quality, seasonal and local products.

A vast garden allows you to rest in the shade of bamboos, cherry trees and magnolias while listening to the lapping of the river and the cicadas.

Our completely renovated swimming pool will be available in 2023. No chemical treatments, the water is treated with Bio-UV lamps.
It has an American beach for relaxing in the water, it measures 4m by 10m with a depth of 1.55m. Pool towels are provided.

The surroundings are ideal for walking, cycling or hiking through the vineyards, for moments of relaxation and wandering to the sound of the rivers.

Avignon and Uzès, two cities full of history and heritage are 25 minutes away, not forgetting the Pont du Gard, and in 40 minutes you are in the Camargue, in Arles.
