Welcome to “Izarn’s place”, a peaceful corner of the Tarn countryside where you can unwind and enjoy spending time together.

“En Izarn” means that the person who once lived here was named Izarn. In the local language, “En” indicated the direction towards someone’s home: people would say they were going “to Izarn’s place”.

Alaïs – En Izarn welcomes you to a peaceful setting on the hillsides of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. From the hamlet, enjoy views over the Pays de Cocagne, the Montagne Noire, the Lauragais plain and, on a clear day, the Pyrenees. Its location is ideal for exploring the Tarn, with Revel, Sorèze, Puylaurens and Castres all within easy reach. Just a few minutes away, the Sor et Agout lakes leisure park offers outdoor activities and family walks. Toulouse, Albi and Carcassonne are also within reach for a day trip.

This air-conditioned country gîte, adjoining another accommodation (G1618) and located close to the owners’ home, has been designed to accommodate up to 6 guests in a friendly, family atmosphere. Fully renovated, it opens onto a garden and an unfenced but clearly defined play area.

On the ground floor, there is a pleasant air-conditioned living area combining a lounge, dining area and open-plan kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a filter coffee maker.
A utility room with washing machine and a separate toilet complete this level.

Upstairs, you will find the shower room with toilet and the three bedrooms:
– Bedroom 1: 1 bed, 140 x 190 cm
– Bedroom 2: 1 bed, 160 x 200 cm
– Bedroom 3: 1 bed, 140 x 190 cm

A cot is available, and additional equipment for families can be provided on request: stair gates, bed rail, child toilet seat and booster seats.

Outside, you can enjoy a private garden and a pleasant shaded terrace, which catches the morning sun.
