Tamarisk Villages welcomes you to the hamlet of Cantignergues, in one of our 9 beautifully renovated houses dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. For some decades, the site was a Christian refuge for young drug addicts from the Netherlands; today we profile ourselves as a small-scale vacation village. Our accommodation is surrounded by beautiful countryside on the border of the Minervois and the Montagne Noire, just a stone’s throw from Minerve. They are close to the river bed of the Cesse, where you can enjoy beautiful walks or cool off. You can also cool off in our swimming pool, open during the summer months, on our pleasantly shaded village terrace is equipped with a barbecue and pizza oven. During the high season, we organize various activities for adults, young people and children. For those who appreciate peace and quiet, this is the place to be. As our Christian/Evangelical identity is close to our hearts, we also offer a Christian program and a Sunday morning service, but without obligation, of course. It’s the perfect place for family vacations, but also for groups, couples and singles, for retreats and seminars. Or simply to get away from the hustle and bustle of today?s world in a beautiful, remote setting.
