An ideal location
Situated in the Hérault department (34) in the commune of Servian, 15km from Béziers and Pézenas and 70km from Montpellier, the château enjoys an exceptional location between the mountains and the surrounding countryside.
In the heart of the vineyards, the Château is a strategic departure point for a multitude of tourist, cultural and sporting activities.

The Château, a 75-hectare estate steeped in history
Built in 1260, Château Hermitage de Combas traces its origins back to an ancient fortress. In 1826, the Marquis and Marquise de Thézan-Saint Géniès carried out major renovations: the château was adorned with two beautiful towers, a grand staircase was built, a chapel was created and large rooms were created to house paintings, furniture and other family heirlooms.
In 2020, Jean-Marc Bardou bought the château and opened a new chapter in its history. Innovation, entrepreneurial daring, a commitment to quality and hospitality.
He bought almost 75ha of vines and undertook major renovation work on the buildings and gardens. His ambition is to relaunch the tourist activity around the château and to launch a new events business, particularly with companies.
A professional and pioneer in his field, Jean-Marc Bardou is also at the head of a flourishing family business founded 44 years ago, comprising 3 5* village & spa campsites.
