Argelès-Gazost, a thermal town located at 460m (1509ft) above sea-level, offers a remarkable advantage which is combined thermo-climatic spa treatments. Its chlorinated-sulphurated sodium waters have been used and recognised for over a century for their therapeutic properties. They are used to treat the respiratory tract, phlebology, and lymphoedema in the arm with a protocol for adapted treatment. The thermoludic centre, the Jardins des Bains, is open all year round and adjoins the thermal spa building.
