This resort, set in unspoilt surroundings, is both family-friendly and sporty. Skiers can enjoy panoramic views on the ridge slopes facing the breathtaking landscapes of the Pyrenees. The resort benefits from excellent natural snow cover, guaranteeing 100% skiing pleasure. A small town with Belle Epoque architecture, Cauterets is directly linked to the Lys ski area by a cable car. A short distance away, the Pont d’Espagne, known as the ‘Little Canada’ of the Pyrenees, is an idyllic spot for Nordic skiing, snowshoeing or ski touring in the serene landscapes of the Pyrenees National Park. 22 slopes (38 km): 5 green, 7 blue, 8 red and 2 black. Cauterets, a village with original architecture and two ski areas. The Cirque du Lys for downhill skiing, a site with good snow cover thanks to its exposure.
