SITE D’ESCALADE DE TREMENAL

This climbing site is located in the Tréménal gorges, just a few kilometers from Minerve. Climbing at Tréménal is highly technical and takes place on steep, slightly overhanging walls or slabs. The site has 11 sectors offering a total of 114 routes ranging from 4 to 7c. The vast majority of the routes are rated in the 6th and 7th grades, making the site unsuitable for children and beginners. Experienced climbers, on the other hand, will be delighted. All the routes are on a south-west facing face. So watch out for the tramontana! The best period is from March to December, if the winter is not too early. In summer, however, you can climb in the shade for most of the day. Routes are no more than 20/25 metres long, and a 60-metre rope is all you need.
