Night carp fishing area

Night fishing for carp is permitted throughout Lake Laouzas, except:

around Cabanal Island and the dam tailrace on the Vèbre,
in the Rieumontagné sector and Villelongue Bay at Naujac during July and August only.

Carp fishing on Lake Laouzas is catch-and-release only, both by day and by night. Carp may only be targeted using single barbless hooks. Night fishing is permitted only with plant-based bait.

All carp caught must be released immediately after capture, both during the day and at night.

Anglers fishing at night are required to indicate their presence with a light.
