Located at the Col d’Estivère, the Pène Haute cliff remains one of the reference sectors of the Pyrenees and even beyond. For its sumptuous setting and the quality of its rock, it attracts climbers from all walks of life. Renowned for its demanding climbing, the cliff is not suitable for beginners, despite the presence of some easy routes. In summer it is possible to climb in the shade in the afternoon at the “Frigo” sector. Special precautions: Please note that the track leading to the Col d’Estivère is not cleared of snow in winter.
