Une poignée de parcelles perdues entre Aveyron et Lot : voilà le terrain de jeu de Jean-Baptiste Lafon.
Historically, the vineyards developed on the grounds of the abbeys founded in the Middle-Ages. Najac, Conques, Saint Côme, Martiel, … the “Vins de Pays de l’Aveyron” has the aim of reintroducing the vine to all these places by finding the old grape varieties that expressed the authenticity of their soil. To be discovered: … Martiel – the 14th century Templars knew how to carefully work this land to produce a renowned wine in their immense domain of the Espinnassières and Juge (as in Martiel). On the sun-drenched limestone slopes, the grapes mature brilliantly to product fruity wines of character. Grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Syrah and Merlot – red wines – rosé wines – white wines in 2010. clay-limestone ground.
