About

After a long career as a rugby player, Sébastien Galtier decided to return to his farming roots and become a winegrower. The farm extends over 10 hectares of organically farmed vines in the commune of Gignac, in the Hérault region, 25 km northwest of Montpellier. The vineyards are located in the foothills of the Causse d’Aumelas, in a renowned terroir classified as AOP Languedoc and AOP Grès de Montpellier. The vineyards are managed in a way that is profoundly respectful of the environment, with a total absence of synthetic chemicals, herbicide-free tillage and the use of organic soil improvers. Le Mas des Colibris is first and foremost a winery, but also a place for exchange, sharing and conviviality. The estate also offers ?notouristic? activities, which can be discovered on its website, as well as an unusual experience with the possibility of spending a night in a yurt, in the heart of the vineyards.
