About

Created in 1964 from the union of six cooperative wine cellars, VICA today brings together more than 1,000 men and women winemakers, covering almost 10,000 hectares. Located in the heart of the Roussillon region, the estate benefits from a mosaic of terroirs – schist, clay-limestone, pebbles – swept by the tramontane wind and bathed in Mediterranean sunshine. The richness of the grape varieties makes the wines unique: Grenache, Carignan, Syrah or Mourvèdre for the reds; Muscat, Vermentino or Roussanne for the whites. VICA produces a wide range of wines, from AOP Côtes du Roussillon and Banyuls to vins doux naturels and IGP Côtes Catalanes. Thanks to its cooperative structure and the fact that it brings together several wineries, VICA offers a range of activities for visitors, including tasting workshops, winegrowers’ evenings, tours of the cellars and electric bike rides through the vineyards.
