Maïca and Mathieu, farmers, producers and sheep breeders in their village in Gavarnie-Gèdre, offer you various products directly from the farm located in Gèdre. Meat of lamb, ewe or grazer, cut up and vacuum-packed: – Whole animal – Fine cuts possible: ribs, legs and shoulders sliced, blanquette.. Processed products : merguez, sausages, jar of navarin of ewe cooked with Tarbais beans.. .
Mathieu, sheep breeder since 1999, accompanied and joined by his wife Maïca in GAEC since 2020 on the farm. Their will: to propose to the customers always more novelties, products of proximity and quality. The herd is in estives in the valley of Héas/Troumouse, between the plateaus of Aguilla and Camplong 1900/2000m of altitude, from mid-May to end of September! The animals also graze in their meadows around the village of Gèdre and on the plateau of Saugué, between 1000/1600m altitude from the beautiful days until autumn. In winter, they are cared for and pampered daily, they enjoy the good hay harvested during the summer and the good care of Mathieu and Maïca! The farm also includes a gîte on the farm, renting a single house for 12 people, Gîte Le Mouton Blanc, Héas/Gèdre.
