A family heirloom, the Domaine has been passed down from generation to generation for 200 years. Isabelle des Garets has chosen to cultivate her land according to the principles of organic farming, in order to offer her customers a natural, high-quality product.
The Domaine is located south of Béziers, on a 24-hectare site known as La Plaine Saint Pierre. Once owned by the Béziers bishops of the Saint Nazaire chapter, they diverted the River Orb to create this unusual terroir. The vines are planted on a sandy-loam soil that covers the coarse pebbles of the former Orb riverbed.
A family heirloom, the Domaine has been handed down from generation to generation for 200 years.
In 2001, Isabelle des Garets chose to cultivate her land according to the principles of organic farming, building on the experience of her father, who chose this path in 1975.
