About
The owner is a demanding, idealistic winegrower who cultivates 9 ha of organic vines around the village of Langlade near Nîmes. This Nîmes native has been working on the estate for over 20 years, and is recognized as one of the region’s finest winemakers.
The Roc d’Anglade vines are planted on siliceous-clay terroirs on limestone marl, facing due north, giving Roc d’Anglade wines great freshness. With the purest respect for the fruit, production is extremely limited.
The winemaker has chosen to free himself from the rules imposed by any appellation to express himself in his wines, without constraint.
His terroir and creative character give his red, rosé and white cuvées an immense personality. These are wines of extreme finesse, freshness and great ageing potential.
Domaine Roc d’Anglade applies the rules of organic farming and its wines are certified.
