DOMAINE PICHARD

SOUBLECAUSE , Hautes-Pyrénées

About

When you arrive at the domain, you will be amazed by the unique view of the hillsides, the vineyards and the Pyrenees. But your surprise will not stop there! The Domaine Pichard was reconstituted in 1955 by Auguste Vigneau, one of the 3 founders of Madiran. There are 12 hectares of vines in one piece, facing south to the Pyrenees. It is then Jean Sentilles and Rod Cork who come into play. .

They proceed to the restoration of the cellar, adopt a reasoned agriculture and then engage in the conversion to organic which is dear to their hearts. In 2015, they obtained the certification and their first organic vintage was born. This step, they undertook it by ecological conviction, for the respect of the nature. Our passion, courage and tenacity are found in each bottle of these organic wines, tasted and appreciated around the world. The wines of the domain can be enjoyed young or aged for 20 years or more, depending on the vintage.
