The Domaine Ollier-Taillefer, found in Fos, a picturesque village to the northeast of AOC Faugères, is a family affair. Luc Ollier and his sister Françoise are the 5th generation of winegrowers on this estate. The vineyard faces due south, at an altitude ranging from 250-350 metres with steep schist slopes. Due to environmental concerns, rational agriculture is imperative here, and the vineyard has been “Terra Vitis” certified since the 2001 vintage. The harvest is manual; the estate’s first vintage bottling was in 1976. Gîtes are sometimes available to rent.
