The domain of Canimals le Haut, installed in a former dairy, is located on the slopes of Saint-Chinian, on a schist soil. Close to the village, you will be welcomed in a green setting, nestled in the heart of the vineyards, between woods of pine, oak, arbutus and chestnut trees. It is in this setting that Brigitte and Jean Louis Castel invite you to discover the excellent quality AOC Saint-Chinian wines. Family property located in the village of Saint-Chinian in the heart of the appellation, the vines of Emma and Jean Louis Castel grow on arid slopes in the middle of woods and scrubland where rockrose and broom, chestnut trees and holm oaks mix. The land is mainly located in the “schist” area of the Saint Chinian terroir and is classified as A.O.C., which is conducive to the production of a wine of excellent quality. The family estate is nestled in a valley in the heart of the vineyard.
