CHATEAU CAZAL VIEL

About

The Miquel family already owned vineyards in Languedoc during the Ancien Régime. Then in 1791, they took over the Cazal Viel estate, run by the monks of the Fontcaude Abbey. These past generations have passed on to us a great deal of experience. Located in the heart of the Languedoc wine region, we know our terroirs inside out. We privilege the noble grape varieties, Syrah and Viognier, which are the best adapted to our terroir and the most apt to bring out its full expression The use of sustainable agriculture is present at all levels. The estate has made this choice in order to respect the natural cycles of the vine, while preserving the biodiversity of our natural environment. Our wines reflect the diversity of the Languedoc and an inimitable typicity.
