DOMAINE LA MADURA
SAINT-CHINIAN , Hérault
About
Domaine La Madura is a vineyard in the Saint-Chinian appellation created in 1998 by Nadia and Cyril Bourgne. It can be described as a mosaic due to the multiplicity of its terroirs, i.e. the soil / plant / microclimate combinations, which makes it interesting The relief plays a determining role, the vines are on slopes and the altitude from one plot to another varies significantly (150 to 300 meters) which allows to spread out the harvest and thus to pick the grapes at the right maturity, more easily and without precipitation. The vines are worked in a permanent concern of respect of the environment by integrating the various parameters which are related to it. This approach is certified H.V.E A new cellar implemented with the collaboration of architects Passelac and Roques was completed in July 2015. Nadia and Cyril invite you to visit this new building, located on the heights of Saint Chinian, which offers a privileged view of the appellation.
