About
The Peyrié estate, which means « a place where the ground is covered with stones” in Occitan, has been a family wine estate for 4 generations. It is located in Soturac in the Lot, at the edge of the western area of the AOC Cahors. Nowadays Christian Gilis carries on the family tradition on this 15-hectare vineyard and elaborates, 100% Malbec Cahors wines, as well as red and rosé wines certified “Vins de pays” of the Lot and a red wine certified “Vin de Table de France”.
