DOMAINE DES COMPAGNONS DE MAGUELONE

Only a few minutes from Montpellier, the Domaine de Maguelone is located in a gorgeous natural setting. Between land, sea and ponds, the Cathedral is an historic and prestigious monument, totally surrounded by vineyards. Wines of Maguelone have been certified organic since 2014. They respect an eco-friendly approach of the vine and of the insular environment. Vineyards represent an 18 hectare area on a volcanic soil. The Compagnons produce solidarity-based wines : those are produced, aged, bottled and sold jointly with disabled people. The 3 rings range includes 6 cuvées named « Insula », « La Volta » & « Witiza ». These names are linked to the History of the peninsula of Maguelone. The 3 rings remind the 3 main missions of the non-profit organization : social, patrimonial and cultural, but also the medieval legend of « Pierre de Provence et la Belle Maguelone ». The site differents spaces for seminars and privatization for events.
