Domaine de Valensac

FLORENSAC , Hérault

About

Domaine de Valensac is a family estate, owned by the Mention family. With activities in Northern France, the management of the estate is entrusted to Edwige Thuillé, a dynamic and enterprising young woman.

This 49-hectare estate, located just ten kilometers from the Mediterranean in the heart of Languedoc-Roussillon, benefits from maritime influences and cool soils, ideal conditions for the production of well-balanced white wines.

Domaine de Valensac grows classic grape varieties for this region: Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay (including nearly 22 hectares), as well as varieties that are much more unlikely to be found in the Languedoc, such as Petit Manseng, Riesling and Petit Verdot, which give the Domaine a truly original character.

Classic grape varieties for an estate on the plains of the Hérault: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Syrah, Grenache, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, but also more original varieties such as Petit Manseng.
