At the very beginning of the 20th century, it was the turn of the famous engineer Clément Ader to move in. This father of aviation left his mark on the domain. He modified and improved the vineyard and replaced the plants destroyed by phylloxera by hybrid plants. He renovated the winery using more modern techniques by building storage tanks covered with glass paving stones to ensure watertightness (still in place today). From then on, the estate took a new turn.
Wine has been made here again and since the seventies. Christian Gerber, the new owner, planted fifteen grape varieties, transforming its hills into a garden of Bacchus in an environmentally friendly approach.
We organize tours of the estate for groups or more individuals: visits of the winery and vineyard, as well as a tasting of our wines and also group lunches. For your events: the Espace Clément Ader offers modular reception areas for your seminars, associative or professional meetings.
