About
Out of a passion for the world of wine, and coming from a completely different profession, in 2018 I created Domaine de Monthélys in the heart of the Faugères Appellation. At an altitude of 300m, surrounding the pretty little medieval village of Cabrerolles, the 5 ha of vineyards follow the curves of this unique terroir whose soil is 100% schist. At this altitude, the climate brings the wind to soothe the strong heat, contributing to the freshness of our wines. Made from Syrah, Grenache, Carignan and Mourvèdre grapes, our red wines have character, combining power and elegance while preserving freshness. You will find in your glasses the aromas of garrigue, spices and ripe fruits. Grenache Blanc and Marsanne are the basis of our white wine. Beautiful floral notes and white fruits, pear, peach.
