About
Winegrowing at La Réserve d’O is governed by the techniques of biodynamic agriculture. We have chosen to produce wine in a global context. We seek to take into account not only the soil and the vines, but also the entire ecological system from the smallest (microbiology) to the largest (planetary system) factors. Traditional agronomic practices (tillage, pruning, disbudding, etc.) are essential, then we consider little-used factors: Rhythms of the sun, manure- and plant-based preparations, reducing the amount of Bordeaux mixture (pesticide)… Our commitment to this form of agriculture is driven by our desire to produce high quality wines while respecting nature and the creatures that live in it.
