Domaine de la Barthe has been a family estate for 3 generations. Viera and Yves EYCHENNES work to bring out the best in the different terroirs that make up the estate. It’s located on the outskirts of Béziers, where vines and wine have left their mark since ancient times. Its vineyards are made up of a wide variety of grape varieties (Merlot, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Muscat d’Alexandrie) which give the wines their character. The land is situated on the slopes bordering the Canal du Midi, which offers a whole palette of aromas and diversity on the palate, and on the clay-limestone slopes of the Oppidum d’Ensérune, where vines have been planted for thousands of years and have permeated our culture, as witnessed by our Greek and Cathar ancestors.
