In Vingrau, on 10 hectares nestling in the foothills of the Corbières, Domaine de l’Edre has been flourishing since 2002 under the impetus of Jacques Castany and Pascal Dieunidou. The clay-limestone soils, altitude and Tramontane wind create a rich terroir where freshness and sunshine combine to give life to expressive wines. The reds and whites are produced with the utmost care: hand-picking, low yields, successive sorting and long macerations. The result is a beautiful range of aromas, fruity, controlled, sometimes powerful, always well-balanced, revealing the characteristics of the region. Domaine de l’Edre welcomes you by appointment for tours of the vineyards and cellar, tastings and sales at the estate. The estate also has a small house for rent in the village of Tautavel.
