In a magnificent cirque, the terraced vineyards emphasize the surrounding relief. (As a precursor, Paul, my grandfather, chose very early on to grow noble grape varieties: Grenache in 1967 and Syrah in 1970. I learned the vineyard trade from my father Jean-Claude, my grandfathers Paul and Jules and my great grandfather Louis. These people passed on to me all their knowledge and love of the vine. I took over the family vineyards in 2012 with now 18 ha and 4 nice vintages, including two reds: Les Schistes de Paul, Clos la Rivière in AOP St Chinian, a Rosé in AOP St Chinian Guide Hachette des Rosé 2017/2018, a IGP Pays D’Oc Viognier 100% only on reservation, and a New White in AOP Coteaux du Languedoc from March 2018. On Saint-Nazaire de Ladarez my parents rent a gite at 9 km la Rivière, village house, fully renovated, sunny, 4/5 people.Tel.0467896475.
