The ORTAL family has been guiding the destiny of CLOS SAINT GEORGES since 1970. For over 50 years, following in the footsteps of the family generations that preceded them and with an unwavering respect for vines and wine, and with a passion for their vineyards, the ORTAL family has made CLOS SAINT GEORGES one of the finest vineyards in the south of France. The vineyards are located in the exceptional “Les Aspres” terroir, now classified as AOP Côtes du Roussillon Village des Aspres. From tomorrow, average annual production will be around 300,000 bottles, including reds, whites, rosés, dry wines and vins doux naturels. Clos Saint Georges is one of the few vineyards in France to have been awarded the “Haute Valeur Environnementale” certification, a mark of its deep respect for the environment.
