About

Founded in the 12th century by Cistercian monks, Château de Jau has been owned by the Dauré family since the 1970s. Located in Cases-de-Pène in the Agly valley, the estate extends over a hundred hectares of vines. Certified organic since 2021, it combines historical heritage, diversity of terroirs and respect for the environment. Château de Jau produces a wide range of wines: reds, whites, rosés, vins doux naturels and sparkling wines. Its appellations include : AOP Côtes du Roussillon, Côtes du Roussillon Villages and Muscat de Rivesaltes. The estate offers a complete experience: tastings in the cellar, guided tours of the vineyards and facilities, restaurants (open in summer) and typical Catalan menus to accompany the estate’s wines. The Château also offers accommodation to extend your discovery of the heritage, nature and culture of Roussillon.
