About

Château Clamens is a family estate run by Jean-Michel BEGUE, a legacy of the Clamens family, and extends over 20 hectares across the commune of Fronton.
It is situated on the first terraces left by the Tarn river as it recedes. It is structured around 3 different terroirs: Fronton, Pompignan and Fabas, which brings originality and complexity to the wines produced.
The grape varieties used are Syrah, Côt, Merlot and Négrette.

5 distinct cuvées for an anthology of flavours… The reds are grouped around the cuvées :
– Caractère”, with aromas of violets, pears and prunes,
– Julie”, which exalts kirsh, black fruit and spices / also available in rosé,
– Negrette & Co” evokes cooked black fruit and woody aromas,
– and finally the ‘Prestige’ cuvée, for the originality of liquorice and the freshness of red fruit.
