At the foot of the Cévennes, the Durfort cooperative cellar produces wines of character from a mosaic of terroirs and exposures. Three ranges of wines, three colors per range.

Founded in 1963, Durfort la Cave now specializes in the production of organic, Terras Vitis and conventional IGP Cévennes and AOP Duché d’Uzès wines. Wine tasting

A production of wines with character, in particular whites and rosés, specialties of the winery. Philippe Nusswitz, France’s best sommelier and winemaker in Durfort, helped create the ranges and signs all the wines.

The terroir of Vins du Duché d’Uzès, between the medieval villages of Durfort and Sauve (and close to Anduze), consists of clay-limestone soils. The stony, flaky marls allow the noble grape varieties planted – Grenache, Syrah, Viognier, Cinsault, Carignan, Mourvrède and Marsanne – to give all their specificities and their letters of nobility to the wines matured in the winery.

Le Duché blanc , AOP Duché d’Uzès is a wine made from 4 particularly distinctive grape varieties: viognier, grenache blanc, marsanne and roussane.
Duché rosé, AOP Duché d’Uzès is dominated by Grenache combined with Syrah.
Duché rouge, AOP Duché d’Uzès, is made from the great Mediterranean grape varieties, mainly Syrah and Grenache noir.
All year round, starting from the winery, “Jeux dis vigne, je dis vin!”, a beautiful stroll through the heart of the vines, garrigue and vineyards of the Duché d’Uzès.
