Cave Coopérative le Rosé de Bessan
BESSAN , Hérault
About
Since its creation in 1938, the Cave Coopérative de Bessan has focused on the vinification of rosé wines. Indeed, it was in this typically Languedoc village that these wines first appeared in the 19th century, produced under the name of “rosé” in view of their lightly colored color following fermentation of red grape must.
Today, with 115 winegrowers cultivating 400 hectares of vines, the Cave de Bessan continues to build on its know-how and reputation, while diversifying into the production of varietal wines.
