About
Trèbes is a charming little town through which runs the Canal du Midi and located just 6 km from Carcassonne. Visit the southern Gothic Saint Etienne church with its 320 painted crows dating back to the XIVth century, the Pont de La Rode bridge, the Pont Aqueduc de Vauban bridge and the monumental stairway of the three locks. The Tourist Office is located on the banks of the Canal du Midi near to restaurants and many shops. Find a wealth of varied documents on the region, local produce, hand-crafted objects and miscellaneous exhibitions.
