Valentine’s Day snowshoeing under the stars

How about celebrating Valentine’s Day in a different way? Snowshoe in the snow, followed by a gourmet dinner in a cabin, lulled by the warmth of the fire.

6 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

RDV: Ax les Thermes train station parking lot.

Carpooling to the start of the hike (30min): 8 places available in the minibus for the first to register.

Distribution and adjustment of equipment provided (snowshoes and poles). 45′ to 1h night walk in the forest by headlamp.

Then off to a mountain hut to share a New Year’s meal in front of the fireplace.

Sample menu: aperitif dishes, lamb and grilled meats with chanterelle potatoes, Ariège cheeses, blueberry pie, white and red Ariège wines, champagne.

Please bring: rucksack, water, high hiking boots or après-ski boots, warm clothing, hat and gloves.
