Sophie Fallourd, a state-qualified scuba diving instructor (DEJEPS), environmental education officer, underwater photographer and freediving instructor (MEF1), is available from April to October in Le Lazaret holiday village. She can take you and your family on a snorkelling excursion or guide you through your first “freedive” (i.e. without scuba gear). She will show you the variety of marine wildlife found along the coast of Sète and in the Thau Lagoon. She can tell you stories about octopuses, cuttlefish, sea breams, crabs and seahorses. For the more sports-minded, short courses (several days) in freediving are also available! And for the younger ones, ages five and up, targeted teaching will make them want to don a mask…
