A day’s outing around Roquefixade, accompanied by one or more donkeys.

A loop to discover all the charm of Roquefixade. A pleasant climb, shaded by the hamlet of Coulzonne and the cave, up to the Calm plateau and the Marot rock (1001m), offering exceptional views of the village, the castle ruins below, the nearby Pyrenees, Montségur and the Toulouse plain on the horizon. Then a descent that takes you through the medieval bastide, where you can enjoy a terrace and a drink at the gîte d’étape. The return journey is on the flat Cathar trail, over a distance of 10 km.
