If you want to try pizzas made by a pizza chef who graduated from the Scuola Nazionale Italiana Pizzaiolo, there’s only one place to go: the pizzeria L’Art de la Pizza by B.J. 1955 on Lavaur’s Grand’Rue shopping street!

After spending more than 20 years in retail, I finally decided to take the plunge by enrolling in the Scuola Nazionale Italiana Pizzaiolo, led by three-time world champion in organic and classic pizza, Mr. Pinin Giuseppe Mongelli. I graduated with honors.
Passionate about high-quality pizza, I sought out local producers, including Mr. Esteve’s charcuterie in Fiac, Albine’s Cabrid’oc goat cheese near Mazamet, and gizzards, “Barbarie” duck breast from La Métairie Neuve farm in Saint-Paul-Cap-de-Joux, and chestnut honey from Cyril Viala in Roquevidal.
After experimenting with various flours, I finally found the right formula to create a light, easy-to-digest dough. Above all, to uphold the Italian tradition, I decided to roll out the dough by hand to preserve all its flavor.
All my products are fresh and guaranteed not to be frozen.
My primary goal is to set myself apart by offering you high-quality pizzas at a very reasonable price, made with top-of-the-line regional ingredients as well as products sourced directly from Italy.
Come enjoy a wide variety of my creations, either here or to go.
To complement my creations, I offer a fine foods selection featuring a range of Italian and local products and beverages, as well as platters of high-quality charcuterie carefully selected by me.
