In an attractive and beautifully maintained space, the permanent exhibition “Les Lumières de Mine” (Lights of the Mine) exhibits a collection of lamps and mining objects made available to the Monts d’Orbs Community of Municipalities by the collector Philippe Estang and the association “L’outil, l’intelligence du geste” (the tool, a gesture of intelligence). The exhibition includes signage, text and photographs that tell the story of the Hérault mine known as the “Bassin de Graissessac”. Two hundred lamps and objects from the 18th century to the present day are on display.
