MUSEÉ “LES ÉMILE VIGNERONS 1894-1897” DE CAZOULS-LES-BÉZIERS
CAZOULS-LES-BEZIERS , Hérault – Cultureel erfgoed
Over
We created this museum as a tribute to our grandfathers (both were called Emile and both were winemakers), to depict the different stages of wine-making and wine culture from the end of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th. Tools are presented with an explanation of how they would be used in the process, for example, for grubbing up, different winter treatments (soil injector, “échaudeuse” (metal boiler to scald the vine roots)), labour (horse and plough), presentation of the wine-making cellar and a cooperage workshop. There is also a collection of corkscrews.
