This 18th-century house is the Saint-Blaize guest house, overlooking the village at the foot of the 13th-century castle and ramparts. For lovers of old stones.

The “Gîtes du Château”, two character guest houses in the heart of the medieval village of Milhars. Renovated in the traditional way, with exposed beams and half-timbering, this house has retained all the charm of the old stones. Heritage lovers will be delighted, as the region is full of picturesque or hilltop villages and impregnable fortresses, reflecting the turbulent history of Occitanie. These are known here as the “Bastides Albigeoises”, and are a must-see. The most famous of these is certainly Cordes-sur-Ciel, just a stone’s throw from Milhars. If you’re a nature lover, get your hiking boots and discover the Bonnan valley. In summer, when the heat is on, you can relax in the swimming pool.

Independent guest house with small private garden (300m²) and terrace. The swimming pool, built into the remains of the ramparts, is shared with guests from the other guest house. Ground floor: kitchen, living room, bedroom (double bed), shower room with wc. Upstairs: bedroom (two single beds), cot. Oil-fired central heating. Mountain bikes available.
