In the heart of the Bastides Country, Péchauzi welcomes you to a peaceful, green setting at the foot of Castelnau-de-Montmiral, listed among The Most Beautiful Villages of France and founded by Count Raymond VII of Toulouse. Its church houses the famous reliquary cross of the Counts of Armagnac, adorned with 310 precious stones. This 13th-century medieval bastide overlooks the Vère Valley and charms visitors with its arcaded square, remarkable heritage and picturesque historic streets. You are also in the heart of the Gaillac vineyard, one of the oldest wine-growing regions in France, where wineries and estates invite you to discover their wines. Just a few kilometres away, the Grésigne Forest, the largest oak forest in south-western France, offers superb hiking and mountain biking trails.

History lovers will also enjoy exploring the nearby bastide towns of Puycelsi, Cordes-sur-Ciel and Bruniquel, while Albi, with its UNESCO World Heritage-listed Episcopal City, is an easy day trip away.

This detached house, located close to the owners’ home, is perfect for family holidays or getaways with friends and can accommodate up to 12 guests.

On the ground floor, you will find a cosy living room, a fully equipped separate kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, filter coffee maker and DeLonghi ground coffee machine, as well as a bright dining room opening onto the large covered terrace. Separate WC.

Outside, everyone can enjoy the pleasant spaces designed for relaxation. The shared garden surrounds the house, while the covered terrace is ideal for enjoying outdoor meals sheltered from the sun. A hammock under the shade of a tree invites you to relax with a book or take a peaceful nap. A small pond, home to fish and regularly visited by frogs, adds to the property’s charming rural atmosphere. Guests will also enjoy the presence of the property’s animals, including a friendly dog and free-range chickens, which contribute to the authentic countryside experience.

The outdoor swimming pool (12 x 6 m, depth from 1 to 3 m) is secured by an alarm system and a removable safety fence. A table tennis table, children’s play area, volleyball/badminton net and a library are also available for your enjoyment.
